Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your
enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray
for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Matthew 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if
this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
Matthew 26:44 And he left them, and went away again, and

Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall
presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
Mark 1:35

Luke 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say,
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will
be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
Luke 14:18 And they all with one consent began to
make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I
must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
Luke 14:19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of
oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
Luke 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore,
father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

John 4:31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him,

give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:

Acts 1:14 These all continued with one accord in prayer

and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
Acts 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name
of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet,
let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:

1 Corinthians 11:4 Every man praying or prophesying,
having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
1 Corinthians 11:5 But every woman that prayeth or
prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is
even all one as if she were shaven.
1 Corinthians 11:13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a
woman pray unto God uncovered?
1 Corinthians 14:13 Wherefore let him that speaketh in an
unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.
1 Corinthians 14:14 For if I pray in an unknown
tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with

according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel,
